1. Who We Are
Stackpure ("we", "us", "our") operates stackpure.is, a research peptide supplier. Our contact email is sales@stackpure.is. References to "you" mean any visitor to or customer of our site.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, shipping address, and payment information (processed by Stripe, we do not store card numbers). We also collect order history and any communications you send us. Additionally, we collect usage data automatically through analytics tools: pages visited, referring URLs, browser type, and approximate location derived from IP address.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: process and fulfil orders; send order confirmations, shipping notifications, and support responses; detect and prevent fraud; improve our site and product catalogue; comply with legal obligations; and, with your consent, send marketing communications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For customers in the UK and EU, our legal bases for processing are: contract performance (order fulfillment), legitimate interests (fraud prevention, site analytics), legal obligation (tax and customs records), and consent (marketing emails). You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting sales@stackpure.is.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use first-party analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand site traffic. GA4 uses anonymised IP addresses and does not enable cross-site tracking. We may use a Meta Pixel for advertising measurement. You can opt out of analytics via your browser's privacy settings or a cookie consent tool. Strictly necessary cookies (session, cart) cannot be disabled without affecting site functionality.
6. Third-Party Services
We share data with: Stripe (payment processing); our shipping carriers (name and address for delivery); Vercel (hosting infrastructure, data processed in the USA); Google (GA4 analytics); and Resend (transactional email delivery). Each third party operates under its own privacy policy and applicable data protection laws.
7. International Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. We rely on standard contractual clauses and Privacy Shield successor frameworks where required under UK GDPR or EU GDPR for such transfers.
8. Data Retention
We retain order records for 7 years to comply with tax and legal obligations. Account and contact data is retained for as long as you have an active relationship with us, plus 2 years. Analytics data is retained for 14 months (Google Analytics default). You may request deletion of your data subject to our legal retention obligations.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (ICO in the UK, your national DPA in the EU, or the relevant state authority in the USA). California residents have additional rights under CCPA, including the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information). 10. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and is never stored on our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children's Privacy
Our site is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, contact us immediately at sales@stackpure.is.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted at stackpure.is/privacy with a revised date. For material changes, we will notify registered customers by email where required by law.
